Senior English Students Test Their Knowledge with a Jekyll and Hyde Escape Room
· Friday, August 14, 2026

Senior English students in Dr. Tubbs' class recently took their study of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in an exciting new direction with a classroom escape room activity.
Rather than a traditional test, students worked together in teams, solving clues and puzzles tied to the novel's characters, themes, and plot details. To make their way through the challenge, students had to draw on their close reading and comprehension of the text, applying what they had learned in a fun and collaborative way.
The activity gave students a chance to practice teamwork and critical thinking while engaging with the material in a memorable format. Dr. Tubbs' class showed great enthusiasm for the challenge, working through each clue to make their escape.
Congratulations to all the students who put their literary knowledge to the test in such a creative way!
