Fourth Graders Team Up for Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
· Saturday, August 29, 2026

Our fourth graders have been hard at work reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, and this week they took their learning a step further by teaming up in small groups to tackle comprehension questions together.
Rather than working alone, students discussed the story as a group, shared their own interpretations, and worked together to locate evidence in the text to support their answers. These kinds of collaborative discussions help students build critical thinking skills while also learning how to listen to and build on each other's ideas.
We were so proud to see the teamwork, thoughtful conversations, and genuine engagement happening in the classroom. It's moments like these that remind us how much fun learning can be when students work together to dig deeper into a story.
Great job, fourth graders, keep up the wonderful discussions and hard work!
